Hello BC  -  Berry Picking

"Krause Berry Farms, located on 248th St., Langley BC has become well known as the spot to pick up some fresh locally grown berries in the region.

At Krause Berry Farm you can either pick up flats of your berry choice inside their well stocked farm store or you may choose to go out and hand pick them from their fields. Either way, the deliciousness of these strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries cannot be denied.

Krause also offers many additional delectables inside their store as well as at "The Porch", the place to stop for some hand-made berry ice cream, smoothies, and even corn pizza! If baking is more your thing, superb breads, pies, perogies, and fudge can also be found on-site.

If you're on the hunt for the perfect locally grown berries for your own delicious creations, or need a dessert to accompany tonight's dinner - Krause Berry Farm has it all.

I personally head down to Krause for all my berry needs and recently tried their perogies for the first time, and let me tell you - they rival the one's my mother used to make for me when I was younger!"

Canada Wide Science Fair

The CWSF finalists visited Krause Berry Farms to meet some of their sponsors and also learn about the science of agriculture. Everyone had a great time and especially enjoyed the delicious pie at the end of the evening.

"I am a local customer and yesterday I came by to buy blueberries and strawberries to serve with ice cream or whipped cream for dessert as we had visitors from Ontario. However, when I saw your beautiful berry pie, that's what I bought. It was the one with raspberries, blueberries and those huge blackberries. Well when I brought it out everyone almost fainted as it is so fantastic looking - they even took pictures. We all agreed that it was the most delicious pie we have ever had."

Came yesterday with the family to pick strawberries.  Had lots of fun in the field, the hay ride.  We bought a corn pizza and tried it yesterday.  Was never a lover of vegetarian pizza but love the corn pizza.  Told my friend and will definitely come back.  You guys have done a great job.

We have just finished putting the six flats of raspberries in the freezer that we purchased last weekend, along with the four flats of strawberries that we purchased the weekend before that.  What a blessing to be able to buy such great fruit.  We enjoyed Krause fruit all last year as well.

Today was our first visit to your farm. My daughter and I had an amazing experience and one of our best days! The staff were so helpful and nice. You have such a beautiful place. We went a little crazy in the bakery and had a yummy lunch on The Porch. Was a very memorable time. I bragged to all my friends when we got home about what a great experience we had and will definitely return. My daughter turned to me on my way home in the car and said that was one of her best days.

I just visited your Farm last week, for the first time, and I can't tell you how impressed I was with your store. The Best Blackberry & Apple pie, I have ever tasted!!! The Staff were so friendly and helpful!!! You should be proud of the Wonderful people you have working for you. I will definitely be back. I am one really happy customer!!!

Visiting your farm for the last 8-10 years has brought a great deal of pleasure tomy husband and myself.  We both love blueberry picking time the best but we pick strawberries, enjoy an occasional treat in your restaurant, and browse for soaps and other special items in your store.  We look forward to continuing this tradition in 2011 and we are grateful you have opened your farm to the public.
